At Lyons Creek Dental Care, we believe that health is a human right and for Dr. Rafoth, that belief shows up not just in our office but across the Puget Sound music community.
We’re proud to share that Dr. Rafoth has been recognized as 2025’s SMASH Hall of Fame Dentist, after providing 77 donated dental services valued at $45,619 this year alone. His work supports local musicians through a partnership with SMASH (Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare).
Supporting the Artists Who Give So Much to Our Community
Musicians play a vital role in the culture and vibrancy of our region, but too often, they do so without access to the healthcare they need and deserve. SMASH exists to close that gap, by offering:
- Free and low-cost medical, dental, and mental health services
- Education and advocacy for navigating healthcare systems
- A deep commitment to keeping our local music scene healthy and thriving
Dr. Rafoth has been a SMASH partner dentist for several years, donating his time and expertise to ensure local artists don’t have to choose between their health and their craft.
More Than Just a Dentist; A Trusted Partner in Care
This year, SMASH praised Dr. Rafoth for being a “highly skilled, deeply generous, and radically compassionate dentist.” We couldn’t agree more.
Each donated appointment is a reflection of his belief that dental care should be accessible, equitable, and delivered with dignity, no matter the patient’s circumstances. Whether it’s an emergency exam, a routine cleaning, or complex treatment, Dr. Rafoth ensures each SMASH member receives the same personalized, high-quality care that every Lyons Creek patient experiences.
