Dr. Rafoth has been providing oral surgery services for over 20 years. Keeping surgical procedures in-house allows for continuity of care and careful coordination with restorative treatment.
Since 1998, Dr. Rafoth has applied his post-doctoral training to treating patients who need oral surgery. Wisdom tooth removal, periodontal surgery, implants, bone grafting, and pre-prosthetic (denture or bridge) surgery are handled in-house.
Dental implants are the standard of care for tooth replacement, and we have been proud to offer this service to our patients since 2000. Our goal is to provide precise, well-planned surgical care in a setting where patients feel informed, prepared, and comfortable.
Each treatment plan is developed individually based on your clinical needs and long-term goals. Our oral surgery services include:
Missing teeth and loose dentures make too many people sit on the sidelines and let life pass them by. However, today’s modern treatment plans can replace everything from a single missing tooth to a completely missing arch. Implants are designed to function like natural teeth. They help preserve bone, improve stability, and restore confidence in eating and speaking.
Successful implant treatment begins with careful planning. We use cone beam CT (CBCT) imaging and virtual treatment planning to evaluate bone structure and determine ideal implant placement before surgery begins.
While surgical experience remains essential, digital planning provides an added level of precision that benefits both short- and long-term outcomes.
Ceramic dental implants are a reliable alternative to titanium or metal alloy implants. For patients who prefer a metal-free option, ceramic implants may be appropriate.
We are happy to discuss whether this option aligns with your treatment goals.
Advances in grafting techniques have improved healing and recovery following oral surgery. One option we provide is platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), a patient-derived graft material created from a small sample of your own blood.
PRF is a bioactive, host-derived source of graft material. The building blocks of PRF support healing. Certain healing proteins help stabilize tissue after surgery.
PRF is often used in bone grafting, implant placement, and periodontal surgery. It is also generally more cost-effective than some traditional graft materials. Dr. Rafoth has been providing PRF grafting for over 20 years. Ask us if a PRF graft is right for you.
In some cases, bone grafting is necessary to create adequate support for dental implants or to maintain teeth affected by periodontal disease. Using advanced imaging, we evaluate bone quality and determine whether grafting will improve long-term success.
We understand that oral surgery can feel intimidating. Procedures are performed with appropriate anesthesia and comfort measures to ensure treatment is as smooth and manageable as possible. Sedation options are available for patients who would benefit from additional support.
