We provide comprehensive general dentistry using state-of-the-art tools that minimize discomfort, reduce radiation exposure, and support precise, gentle treatment — so you can feel confident at every visit.

About General Dental Care

At Lyons Creek Dental Care, we provide comprehensive general dental care supported by advanced technology and techniques that help protect your oral health and improve your experience.

We believe in dentistry that is precise, informative, and based on the best diagnostic tools available so you and our team can make confident decisions about your care.

Truly such a great office and experience. The team is friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, they always stay on top of new tech and advancements in their field.

Explore Our Solutions

Digital X-Rays

We use digital x-ray sensors instead of traditional film. Digital imaging allows us to enhance and transfer images instantly for a more accurate diagnosis. This technology also uses less radiation than conventional film x-rays, which benefits all patients, especially those needing frequent imaging.

CariVu Decay and Crack Detection

CariVu is an imaging tool that uses LED light to help diagnose tooth decay and cracks without radiation or traditional x-rays. In many cases, this method can detect concerns earlier and with greater comfort for patients.

Comfortable Anesthesia Delivery

Our patients consistently comment about how simple and comfortable our anesthesia delivery is. The Wand is a microprocessor-controlled device that decreases any sensation of “getting the shot” and dramatically reduces post-operative discomfort normally associated with the traditional syringe.

Drill-Free Cavity Removal

When appropriate, we offer alternatives to the traditional dental drill, including:

Laser cavity removal: gently removes decay while also disinfecting the area
Air abrasion: a stream of air and fine particles that removes decay without drills

These technologies help preserve more of your natural tooth structure and can reduce the need for anesthesia in many cases.

Next-Generation Digital Dentistry

We also use state-of-the-art digital scanning and design technology that elevates your general dental care.

Real-Time Digital Scanning

With our advanced intraoral scanners, you can see detailed digital models of your teeth and bite. This enhances accuracy and helps you understand your dental condition firsthand, side by side with your dentist. Seeing your smile in real time on screen allows you to participate in your care and better understand treatment recommendations.

Advanced CAD/CAM Restorations

Using digital design and in-house CAD/CAM milling, we can create restorations such as crowns, bridges, and veneers with precision and efficiency. This technology can often produce restorations the same day, reducing the number of visits and time spent waiting for lab-fabricated pieces.

Why General Dentistry Matters

Dental health is not only about preventing pain; it affects your overall health, appearance, and quality of life.

Our focus is to help you maintain a healthy smile with care that is personalized, proactive, and based on what we see in your mouth, not what we guess.

Prevent decay before it becomes extensive
Reduce the risk of future surgical treatment
Detect problems that aren’t yet visible to the naked eye
Help maintain healthy gums and bone support

The services include:

Routine exams and cleanings
Gum health monitoring
Targeted decay prevention
Bite and wear evaluations

Personalized Preventive Care

We tailor preventive treatment to your needs. During every visit, we take time to explain your oral condition, answer your questions, and involve you in decisions about your care.

I've been a patient here for a while now and I genuinely look forward to my appointments — and that's not something most people say about the dentist! The entire team makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. Dr. Chris in particular strikes the perfect balance between explaining what is going on and being personable and easy to talk to.

As always my experience at Lyons Creek was pleasant, fun, and easy. From the front desk to the treatment chair, I am happy with the professionalism the entire team devoted to my dental health.

I used to be a bundle of nerves at each dentist I went to, but at Lyons Creek, I have had wonderful experiences at each visit. Dr. Rafoth and his staff are truly caring individuals.
