At Lyons Creek Dental Care, we believe in the power of giving back to our community. That’s why we were thrilled to participate in the inaugural SMASH Seattle Member Dental Clinic in March. This nonprofit clinic aims to provide low-cost dental care to musicians in Seattle, and we were honored to be a part of this important initiative.
Dental Clinic Outcomes
We’re excited to share the outcomes of the SMASH Seattle Member Dental Clinic:
- 29 SMASH Members attended our first-ever Dental Clinic.
- All members received fully comprehensive exams, including x-rays, photographs, gum disease screenings, and cancer screenings.
- 20 members received standard cleanings, while 4 members received deep cleanings.
- 4 members were fitted for night guards.
- 2 members underwent surgery with next steps planned for replacing missing teeth.
- 1 member received immediate fillings to address decay and prevent further damage.
Following the clinic, members are being scheduled for follow-up and maintenance care with our growing team of SMASH dental professionals and clinics.
